Katie Gray

Director of Organizational Operations

Katie Gray joined the Hillsborough Street team in January 2023 as a Communications Intern. After completing her internship, she transitioned into a contract role as a Video Content Research Assistant, where she worked until her graduation in May 2024. In September 2024, Katie transitioned to a full-time position as the Director of Organizational Operations.

In her role, Katie oversees a variety of administrative functions, including coordinating monthly newsletters, preparing finance reports and packets, organizing internal meetings and events, and managing day-to-day office operations.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Katie graduated from NC State University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, concentrating in Public Relations, along with minors in Nonprofit Studies and Business Administration.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her cat, Bobo, relaxing with a good book or TV show, traveling abroad, and enjoying quality time with friends.
