Hillsborough Street Celebrates Art It Up! 2018

A month-long promotional campaign that highlights a collection of arts, culture & recreation events in the vibrant Hillsborough Street District during October.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Hillsborough Street celebrates its vibrant arts, culture and recreation scene with a collection of events throughout the district this October with Art It Up! 2018.

With over 20 different events over the course of the month, many of the districts’ key arts and recreation organizations are participating with both free and ticketed events. Events cover everything from musical performances to comedy shows, art exhibitions to theatrical performances, crafts to costume sales, nature events and more.

Participating organizations include NC State Arts, Sonorous Road, Raleigh Little Theatre, Theatre in the Park, Gregg Museum of Art & Design, JC Raulston Arboretum, The Green Monkey, Lucky Tree Café, Irregardless Café, West Raleigh Presbyterian Church and the N.C. State Fair. 

As a part of the campaign, attendees have the chance to win prizes from Hillsborough Street arts organizations, simply by showing up and showing off the event. Prizes include tickets to future events, art books and discount codes.
