Tasty Tuesday: Gumby's

Today's Tasty Tuesday takes us to Gumby's Pizza, located just a short walk from D.H. Hill Library. With all of the pizza options on Hillsborough Street, Gumby's Pizza is a hard one to beat! This pizza joint has been a staple for NC State students for years and is home to the original pokey stix.

Although Gumby's is known for their delicious pokey stix, their menu is full of tasty options to satisfy every customer. Their menu includes wings, subs, salads and a variety of appetizers. Gumby's also has several daily specials, including "Rock n Roll Wednesday," where their famous pepperoni rolls are only 80 cents each. I decided to order one of their daily specials, which included two cheese pizza slices with a bottle of cold, refreshing soda for $5.99. The pizza was light on the inside while crunchy on the bottom and the perfect amount of savory, melted cheese layered on top. The crust was drizzled with garlic butter to make for a flavorful last bite. It was the perfect amount for one to enjoy or share with a friend.
