Rush Bowls only opened its doors this past week, but the anticipation for a permanent smoothie bowl shop has made it a big hit during its first few days of business. Conveniently located for Meredith & NC State students who frequent Hillsborough Street, Rush Bowls is sure to be a popular hangout spot all year long, especially when the school year kicks off.
Rush Bowls specializes in a variety of bowls with fresh & organic ingredients that energize you to go about your day. With so many options there is always something new and exciting to try. You can also add as many toppings of fresh fruit that your bowl can fit or enhance your bowl with supplements.
For my first visit to Rush Bowls I ordered the Beach Bowl, advertised as a Signature Bowl & a Rush Favorite on the menu. I figured I would start with the house favorite and work my way through the menu from there. The acai in the Beach Bowl featured Banana, Mango & Guava juice – a delicious and super sweet combo. Things were topped off with organic granola & honey, my personal favorite ingredients.
