Tasty Tuesday - Snoopy's
Snoopy’s Hot Dogs & More has been a Raleigh staple, proudly serving their famous hotdogs since 1978. They have 2 locations at the end of each side of Hillsborough Street and another 3 in the greater Raleigh area. I have been to Snoopy’s several times before but this past time it was National Hot Dog Day.
Upon arrival it was evident that the holiday had brought everyone out to enjoy one of America’s national foods. I ordered the 2 hot dogs (ketchup, mustard, chilli) w/ fries and drink combo and was very pleased with the fast and friendly service. The hot dogs were served nice and hot with condiments generously applied and the crinkle cut fries were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crisp.
Along with making great food the owners take special interest in the Wake county SPCA, an organization that helps pets find permanent homes. They have a beautiful mural on the side of the building showing their support for the local group.
