Monday July 22

Make plans to stop by the Lucky Tree Café this Monday night for their Free the Mic event at 6:30pm! Come as a performer or spectator to support other local talents who will take the stage. Follow us on Instagram @LiveitupRaleigh to keep up with our intern’s experience at Free the Mic!

Tuesday July 23

Join Raleigh Brewing Company this Tuesday night for their Team on Draft: Group Ride to Fight MS. All Tuesday long, 10% of Taproom sales go to help fight MS disease. Come out to the taproom anytime from 12-10pm to contribute to a great cause and join on the group ride at 6pm!

This summer join The Green Monkey for Hell Yeah I have Bingo! every Tuesday night at 7:30 & head over to Redline Beer & Wine for Trivia Tuesdays at 9pm all summer long.

Wednesday July 24

Image result for comedy worx the harry show The Secrets of Stone, our favorite Gregg Museum of Art and Design exhibit is back for the month of July! Reserve a spot for the 1pm guided tour this Wednesday and learn about the secret compartments and complex features incorporated into Tilden Stone’s furniture masterpieces in his “Southern Surreal” exhibit.

Get out of the heat this Wednesday night and enjoy the weekly Ridiculously Low-Priced Beer special all day atThe Green Monkey or get your team together for pizza, liquor specials & Trivia Night at Brickhouse Sports Bar & Grill. You can also catch a round of Team Trivia at Raleigh Brewing Company this Wednesday night!

Thursday July 25

Our favorite event of the summer continues this Thursday night as Raleigh Little Theatre presents its free outdoor summer movie series, Movies in The Garden. With food trucks from Mr. Mongolian, Fresh Outta Brooklyn, Jays Italian Ice & beverages from Raleigh Brewing Company and a pre-show movie party with Alamo Drafthouse and a performance from RLT’s “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder”, this is a guaranteed night of fun for all ages! Come out early and enjoy the pre-show activities before the PG family favorite, Beetlejuice begins at 8:30! A night of free summer fun to enjoy with friends and the entire family.

ComedyWorx hosts our favorite hilarious improv show this Thursday night. Get your group signed up to perform or purchase tickets at the door to enjoy an evening of “M” rated comedy at the Improv Mixer! Participation is open to groups of all experience levels from any theatre who wants to perform.

Friday July 26

This Friday at Raleigh Little Theatre, the drama production Antigone continues. This reinterpretation of a family drama explores conflict, loss and suffering. Grab tickets to see the classic story sometime this weekend!

Goodnights Upstairs hosts Late Night Dip, a unique bucket-style open mic event this Friday night. You can purchase tickets to this 18 & up show ahead of time for a night of hilarious improv!

Don’t forget about some of our favorite events and specials that happen every Friday on Hillsborough Street. Enjoy Friday drink specials and Karaoke with DJ Stevie B. at Brickhouse Sports Bar & Grill or get your laughs in this weekend with ComedyWorx at their family friendly ComedyWorx Show starting at 8pm! You can also join in on the late-night fun at ComedyWorx for the Harry Show, an improv party based on audience suggestions and participation!

Saturday July 27

Purchase tickets to see Antigone at Raleigh Little Theatres this Saturday night. Grab tickets to see the third and final play of the Oedipus trilogy in which strong, powerful female lead, Antigone, fights for ancient moralities and family values.

ComedyWorx hosts both matinee and evening showtimes of their family friendly ComedyWorx show. Happening later in the evening is their M-rated theatrical improv show, The Breakdown. This can’t-miss show is based off audience participation & suggestions!

With music from DJ Rannasarus Rex and color coded wristbands to display your relationship this is sure to be a fun night for everyone.

Sunday July 28

Explore the beautiful JC Raulston Arboretum this Sunday afternoon in a Guided Tour. You can enjoy the beautiful NC weather, learn about the plants and the natural beauty at the Arboretum. This event is free to the public.
